The lodge at the main gates to Penrice Castle built as an extravagant Gothic folly in the 1790s to have the appearance of a ruined castle. This unique building makes an ideal location for a romantic break for any couple.

Downstairs

Small entrance hall, round sitting room with log burner and small gothic windows with their original shutters. Fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, electric oven, fridge and freezer. Cupboard with washer/drier. Bathroom with shower above the bath and lavatory.

Limestone flooring throughout.

Bath and hand towels, bath robes, tea towels and a kitchen hand towel are included in the cost.

Upstairs

One round bedroom with a 5ft bed and bedroom furniture. Gothic windows with views of the Park. Small enclosed garden to the front with the parking area just outside the garden gateway.

Unfortunately this property is unsuitable to take pets.

There is no WIFI at the Towers as there is no telephone but WIFI is available from outside the Estate Office on your own WIFI enabled device.

Hampers

Our hampers are the perfect way to ensure that your holiday starts with a smile and takes away any added pressure. We have various hampers available from BBQ packs to home baked cakes, flowers, chocolates, champagne or a special celebratory cake.

Booking

To request a booking in one of our self catering cottages please complete our booking form. We will then contact you to take a third of the total cost payment on a debit card over the phone. The balance is payable 8 weeks before your arrival date.
