Marsh View Cottage is across the lane from Rose Cottage. The Estate's Head Carpenter used to live here. The old part of the cottage is on the left. It was enlarged in the 1880's and the locals still know it as the new extension.The views are wonderful and there is a large enclosed lawned garden and patio area.
Our hampers are the perfect way to ensure that your holiday starts with a smile and takes away any added pressure. We have various hampers available from BBQ packs to home baked cakes, flowers, chocolates, champagne or a special celebratory cake.
Downstairs
Large beamed kitchen/dining-room fully equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, washer drier, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a log burning stove. Cosy sitting-room with an open fire and a door opening out into the garden.
Upstairs
There are 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king size bed, wash hand basin and an original wooden ceiling and built in wardrobes. The middle bedroom has a single bed with an optional pull out full size 3ft guest bed underneath and the third bedroom has twin beds. Bathroom with shower above the bath, lavatory and wash hand basin. Parking for Marsh View is on the green just by the cottage.
To request a booking at one of our self catering cottages please complete the booking form on this page underneath the calendar. We will then contact you to take a third of the total cost payment on a debit card over the phone. The balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival date.
Free WIFI is available from the cottage.
Bath and hand towels, tea towels and a kitchen hand towel are included in the cost.
